My story

Dakini A17660733 lb. spayed female, approx 1 year old -Look at his cutie!-Calm and gentle right now but shows moments of playfulness. Did a few little zoomies and played with a toy briefly.-Treat motivated, sits and takes them nicely-Got a bath and although she didn’t love it, she tolerated it-She’s a complete cuddle bug and loves to be in your lap for lovin!-Affectionate and gives kisses-Walks nicely on leash-Very sweet girl!-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
