My story

A "breeder" of miniature schnauzers became ill and asked a friend to help find homes for all her dogs. The dogs were in terrible shape when they first arrived, many were matted and required dental cleanings. They are all shy but slowly coming out of their shells, some quicker than others. You can tell they are all looking for attention and timid to ask but enjoy being held in your lap. After being groomed, we can see Otto has a pretty "liver" coloring - white with brown speckles in his coat. He got a dental cleaning at the time of his neuter and is now also up to date on his shots. This adorable boy is about a year old and only 10-11 pounds. Please help Otto find the loving home he deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
