My story

Kittens For Adoption! This summer, a good samaritan was unexpectedly befriended by a feral cat who was supporting her litter of 5 kittens on mice, moles, and lizards. :( She was super thin, and the kittens got too old for her to care for, so she brought them out to the human she chose for help. Once the kittens became accustomed to cat food, Ashley was able to pick them up and shelter them without having to trap them. These kittens have since been actively socialized. They are all comfortable with humans and litter box trained. Kenny (Tuxedo boy) Kenny is an easy-going, playful and loving kitten whose purr greets you at the door. He is a fearless, rough and tumble boy who would be a great fit for a family with small children and possibly dogs as well (although he has yet to meet one). Hop (Tabby boy) This sweet, rambunctious guy is just as happy napping on your lap as chasing a toy. He loves to play with people and other cats.  His purr is loud and comforting. He would be a great fit for a family with children and other young cats. He loves his siblings and would love to find a home with one of them. Spritz (Tabby with white chest) This gorgeous kitten is a dreamer often in a world of his own.  He loves to play with his brothers and with his people, but he also needs his me-time to disengage and relax. He is very curious about humans and would love a quiet forever home where he can be the center of attention. Guinness (Black beauty with patch of white on chest) This easy-going kitten will flop in your arms like a rag doll. He is playful when you want to be, and when Hop tackles him, but he is also happy to laze the day away in a quiet corner. He would rather snuggle with you or his siblings than roughhouse. He would be great around gentle kids and other small pets. Perry (All black girl) As the only girl of the litter, she is strong, independent and very playful. She has a giant purr and an expressive personality. She would be a great fit for a someone who will give her the love and companionship that she craves. These kittens are considered a Courtesy Listing. Jake’s Place offers our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.
