Graylen is a beautiful adult cat currently dealing with a mild case of ringworm and looking for a dedicated foster to help her heal. While this condition is manageable with proper care and treatment, Graylen would thrive in a calm, low-stress environment where she can rest and recover. She’s a gentle soul who just needs a little time and support to get back to her best self. Reason for Foster: Ringworm Foster Time Frame: 3 weeks (The foster time frame could be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Graylen is being treated for ringworm, which is a fungal skin infection. This can be contagious, so it is recommended that she be kept in a room away from other pets. Be sure to wash your hands and change clothing after interacting with her. A room without upholstered furniture or carpet is ideal. This kiddo will need regular lime sulfur dips and will go home with an antifungal medication. We will provide a full medical consultation at pickup to ensure you are prepared to take great care of this little one. Visit this link to learn more about fostering a pet with Ringworm: https://operation-kindness-foster.my.canva.site/ringworm-foster-guide Foster to Adopt Program: Graylen is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption. If you’re interested in fostering, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Graylen, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
