My story

Meet Wrigly! Our 3 years Terrier mix who is a scruffy ball of charm with a heart as big as his ears! This little guy is a terrier through and through: curious, clever, and always ready to turn everyday moments into grand adventures. Wrigly is happiest when he’s close to his people.Wrigly’s got a playful streak and loves toys, especially the squeaky kind. He’s friendly with other dogs and thrives in a home where he gets plenty of affection and outlets for his energy.Wrigly’s ideal match is someone who appreciates a loyal companion and is ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and the occasional goofy terrier antics. Come meet Wrigly and let him wiggle his way into your heart!Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU.ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second ChanceSPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
