Popeye 9219

My story

Popeye is strong and brave! He lost a leg and it didn't even slow him down! We haven't seen him chug from any cans of spinach like his namesake yet, but if you wanted to put a little striped shirt on him, please do. He's a precious pup who had a ruff life before Muttville, and just wants your TLC! Here's some notes from his foster: Popeye is the sweetest dog there is! He did great in the car on the way home, likes pets behind the ears, and although doesn’t need to be carried, seems to enjoy it. We haven’t heard him bark yet (he must be friends with all of our squirrels), is potty trained, and is a good eater. He doesn’t beg for food, and takes his medications very easily. He is absolutely fine inside, but tends to gravitate towards being outside when we leave the door open. He sits on the grass and soaks up the sun, and seems like he could spend hours out there. If you set him down on something soft he immediately lays down and falls asleep. His first night he slept through the night without any issues. He is very low energy so if you are looking for someone to go hiking he probably will wait for you at home.
