My story

Meet Ally & AJ – a beautiful bonded pair with an unbreakable connection and hearts full of love! Ally, the daughter, is 83 pounds of playful charm, while her mama AJ is a gentle 90-pound sweetheart. These two adore each other and love nothing more than splashing around in a small pool and soaking up the sunshine side by side. While Ally is more confident and outgoing, AJ is a bit timid and leans on her daughter for reassurance, creating a heartwarming dynamic that's impossible not to love. Their journey hasn’t been easy. Found as strays, AJ had been hit by a car and was in need of medical attention when they were rescued. Through care, healing, and the comfort of staying together, both girls have blossomed into loyal, loving companions. They are looking for a forever home that will welcome them as a package deal and continue to show them the kindness they deserve. Ally and AJ will thrive with a patient family willing to work with them as they continue to build trust and settle into a loving home. AJ was born on December 7, 2019, and Ally on December 7, 2021. They are currently being fostered together in Fort Worth, Texas, and are ready to find a family that will love them both, just the way they are.All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $650 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
