My story

Larry is a big-hearted, black-and-white gentleman (tuxedo coat included!) who’s ready to find his forever home. Found wandering the streets of Minneapolis, this sweet and snuggly Bernedoodle is a perfect fit to join your pack!Larry was nervous when he first came to his foster home, so having a big family has really helped him settle in. He very much prefers lots of activity as opposed to being alone. He loves kids (gentle with even the littlest visitors), and loves to play with other dogs! He's always excited to greet and play. He does not have experience with cats, so a proper introduction is recommended.Larry is house-trained and crate-trained. He's happy to sleep through the night in his crate, though he doesn’t love being crated when you're gone, so his foster family is continuing training. Larry is calm indoors, rarely barks, and enjoys hanging out near his humans all day. His ideal home would have another dog, kids, and/or a stay-at-home adult to keep him company.He’s not big on toys, but will happily play chase with kids, take regular strolls, and then crash for a good nap. His signature moves? A fancy “sploot” with crossed front paws and insisting getting petted while you're in the bathroom with the door left open — classic Larry!Larry is equal parts relaxed and playful. A fenced yard would be a plus, but not required — he’s good with regular walks and potty breaks. Larry is looking for a loving home that’s ready to give him the attention and companionship he craves. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
