My story

Pippa's cuteness is eclipsed only by her sweetness. She is a loving soul who just wants to be loved back. She is an older gal with low energy but gets bursts of playfulness throughout the day. Otherwise, she is content to hang out in your vicinity and take cozy naps. She also loves to be carried around by her person. Pippa would do best in a quiet household with someone is able to devote a lot of time to her as she really craves companionship. She does get nervous in loud or chaotic environments, understandable given her history. She craves human affection and prefers calm environments to high energy or noisy atmospheres. I feel as though older children could do well with her but given her small size and fragile nature, I don't think a household with small children would be her best fit. Her needs are a few and simple – a soft, cozy bed for her frequent naps, back scratches because they feel so good, and, most of all, love. She eats well and loves cheese but is not super food motivated. She is not potty trained (she does not know how to walk on a leash) but is making some progress using puppy pads. I think the potty training will take her some time with a person who is committed to gently helping her learn. Overall, she is a SWEET girl with a lot of love to give who really only asks for love and attention in return.
