My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:Black Bear is a very sweet cat who is slightly subdued in the cubby. He accepted all petting while remaining in place, ignored treats, and remained in the loft position. Once the cubby door was shut, he partially came out under the shelf but retreated back into the cubby when the assessor made as if to open the door. He was calm during a partial pick-up and remained so when set back down. Black Bear interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.I lived with children in my previous home.I have lived with cats in my previous home.I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing.
