Meet Leo! 🦁Leo may start off a little shy, but once he feels safe and comfortable, he blossoms into the sweetest, most affectionate companion. This playful pup loves gentle scratches and is just beginning to explore the wonders of the great outdoors! One of Leo's newest favourite activities is chasing the frisbee, and he is a pro at bringing it back to you for more fun! Smaller adventures to start are ideal to get him comfortable with everything the world has to offer as he is still getting used to walking on leash and can startle easily by sudden noises or in particularly high traffic areas. Leo is looking for a patient family that has the time to help him gain confidence. Leo would thrive in a home without small children as he needs a quieter place to call home. Leo may benefit from a doggy companion given a proper introduction and temperament match.If you're seeking a sweet companion who's ready to bring joy to your life, Leo might be the perfect match! Do you think you could be Leo's person? Here are some ways to find out:1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or2.)Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.*Side note: the more you add to your application about you and what you are looking for in a canine companion, the better we can match animals with adopters!
