My story

Hazel is residing at The PURRfect Match, our new cat adoption center in Andover.  He'll be hanging out there entertaining visitors, greeting guests, playing with many other adoptable feline friends and trying to steal some tasty treats.  Please stop in and meet Hazel and the other furry friends at 14033 Round Lake Blvd NW in Andover.  Please make every effort to meet Hazel prior to completing an adoption application.  Thank you. Hi, I’m Hazel — a pint-sized adventurer with big eyes, bigger curiosity, and a purr motor that just won’t quit. I may be small, but I’ve got a whole lot of personality packed into this fuzzy little body! Whether I’m chasing a wand toy, wrestling my brother Cedar, or zooming through a tunnel like a furry lightning bolt, I live for playtime. But don’t let my zoomies fool you — once I’ve gotten my wiggles out, I’m all about the snuggles. Scoop me up, and I’ll melt into your arms with a happy purr that says, “I love being your favorite.” Come meet me at The PURRfect Match — even though kittens aren’t usually hanging around here, I promise I’m a purr-fect surprise. Oh, and yes, although my name is Hazel, I am a boy kitty, thank you very much. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota.
