Jack

My story

A volunteer writes: Jack's an open hearted curious guy who is simply not a fan of the shelter. We'd love to make his stay a bit brighter but everything pulled from our sleeves seems to fall flat. Snug in his little den, he looked at me curiously, perhaps even cautiously, as he considered what I was there for. Was this about treats again? Toys, pets, friendship? Whatever I planned to hand him, Jack informed me as he crawled out to get to his perch, he really wasn't in a position to accept at this moment. I can certainly see that but the Jack as lovingly described by his previous guardians detail a quiet and well rounded kitty who simply wants to make big decisions, like making friends, on his own terms.
