My story

Meet Alex. He is approximately 3 to 4 years old. He walked into a place of business near Forney and was lucky enough to be rescued by CFR. His original shelter records before adoption on 05-20-2024 indicate his breed is 'Canaan', but he also looks like a White Shepherd mix. Without a DNA test we cannot be positive of his breed.Regardless he is super handsome!  Alex is an AMAZING boy! He can sit, lay and shake hands on command. He is absolutely sweet with the other dogs of all sizes and ages in his foster home, showing his gentleness to the older dogs - yet playful with the puppies.Alex is one of the most affectionate dogs that his foster has had, he acts like a 8 lb snuggle pup, and wants to be lying right by his foster mom when relaxing on the couch and does all he can to take over the bed at bedtime! He has been treated for heartworms and doing well. Alex would do great as an addition to an existing pack or as an only dog. Alex will need regular exercise and stimulation to keep his active mind busy, help him keep a healthy weight and keep his athletic shape.  ##2467352##
