My story

Meet Petey – One of Our All-Time Favorites!It was love at first sight with this beautiful blonde boy. Petey is the largest in his litter—and his personality is even bigger! Confident, affectionate, and full of charm, Petey adores his siblings and would love to be adopted with one of them. Petey has been lucky to grow up with his mom and littermates since birth. He's incredibly healthy, well-adjusted, and a true joy to foster. Every now and then, a foster cat comes along that truly stands out—and Petey is one of those rare gems. Watching him play and explore with his siblings (and discovering the joy of toys and toes—yes, even mine!) has been an absolute delight.   He loves his mom and siblings AND he would love to be adopted with one of his siblings (Henry Jack, Ryder, and Gracie Ann).  Two kittens are a lot less maintenance than one, as they keep each other company and have a playmate. Because socialization is key to a kitten’s development, kittens under 5 months old are required to be adopted in pairs or placed in a home with another young cat. Having a feline friend to grow up with will help her continue to thrive as a confident, well-adjusted cat (read more about why kittens need to be in pairs at https://www.cat-advocate.com/post/2020/06/04/two-kittens-are-better-than-one).  This laid-back boy is low maintenance and socially savvy. He quickly adapted to household life and picked up social skills with ease. Petey is the belle of the ball around the home, often entertaining with his antics.
