My story

Meet Cosmo! We think his name is pretty fitting, because his ears are totally out of this world! He’s a 1 year old, 45 lb hunk of love and excitement who’s on the hunt for his new best friend or family. Don’t let his serious face fool you — this boy is a big, snuggly mush who just wants to hang by your side (preferably cuddled up next to you), join you on an adventure, and run and play with his dog friends. He’s an active, young boy who will need exercise and enrichment to thrive, but will also happily snooze on the couch afterwards. Cosmo can be a little shy at first when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and will soon be right in your lap if you let him. He also absolutely loves other dogs! Whether they’re big, small, or totally uninterested in him, he’s very respectful and listens to their cues. He would love to have a canine brother or sister to keep him company or friends he can play with regularly. He’s very smart and food motivated, which is helping him quickly learn basic commands; we’re currently working on “sit” and “down.” He’s also a great leash walker and is both potty and crate trained, sleeping perfectly through the night in his crate. Cosmo will make a wonderful companion for an active person or family.
