Meet Longhorn! Our cattle-ranglin’, zoomie-lovin’, blanket-snugglin’ boy is ready to rope himself a forever home! This 5-year-old, 10 lb cowboy is full of yee-haw energy and big-time charm. He gets the zoomies like it’s a competitive sport—doing joyful laps around the house every ten minutes. Now...let’s talk about those EARS. They’re big, bold, and satellite dishes tuned into love and snacks. When he’s not wrangling invisible cattle, Longhorn is a certified professional snuggler. His favorite pastime? Burrowing under a blanket and curling up right next to you. Bonus points if he gets to nap in your lap. He’s potty trained, loves his leash walks, and enjoys a good porch sit like a true Southern gentleman. He’s gotten along great with the other dogs in his foster home and is extra sweet with kids.Did we mention cheese? It's kind of his love language. Longhorn is a lovable little guy with a big, joyful heart. He’s happiest when he’s zooming through the yard, greeting you with happy hops, or snuggling on the couch. If you're looking for a dog that brings endless smiles, Longhorn might just be your perfect sidekick. To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Longhorn, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
