My story

Meet Cornpop, a happy, wiggly, one-year-old boy who’s as friendly as they come! This 43-pound cutie loves pets, adores treats, and has an excellent “sit” that he’ll happily show off—especially if there’s a snack involved. He’s a smart pup who walks well on a leash and enjoys engaging with his handler.Cornpop’s youthful energy sometimes comes through in playful little hops when he’s excited or hopeful for a treat, but it’s all in good fun. He’s also affectionate—happily hopping his front paws onto your lap for pets and even sneaking in a kiss. Still new here, we’re getting to know him better, but one thing is already clear: Cornpop is just a friendly, happy, good boy who’s ready to bring joy to his future family!Cornpop has met other dogs at the shelter, he is a rowdy boy and will need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.Come to BARCS to meet Cornpop or one of his friends!
