My story

Meet Good Boy Yes, that's really his name and for good reason! Say "Good Boy" and you’ll see his eyes light up, his ears perk, and hear him rumble out a happy purr. He lives for the praise. Good Boy came to us by accident. He wandered into a trap meant for a more feral friend but once we met him, there was no turning back. Despite being rough around the edges, with a weathered face and battle scars to prove it, he immediately showed us his sweet and social side. He was unneutered, scuffed up, and clearly overdue for a little kindness… so we gave him the good life he deserves. Originally from a Bridgeport colony where three of our other cats were rescued, Good Boy stands out as the friendliest of the bunch. He’s vaccinated, FeLV/FIV negative, and will be neutered before heading to his forever home. He loves food, purrs like a motorboat, tolerates other cats just fine, and while dogs can startle him, he handles it like a champ. His favorite place to unwind is the catio, where he can breathe in the fresh air and feel safe. He may offer up his fluffy tummy in trust, but be warned, it’s for looking, not touching. Chin scratches, though? Absolutely. We can’t say for sure how old he is, his rough past makes him look older than he might be but we can say that he’s pure love, inside and out.
