Please Read My Story – I’m Maggie Mae My name is Maggie. I’m 4 years old, spayed up to date on shots and housetrained. and my life has been filled with both love and unthinkable pain. I was adopted from Brick City Rescue into a family who adored me. For a while, I thought my happy ending had come. But one day, everything changed. A male dog attacked me so viciously that I nearly lost my life. I spent months in the hospital fighting to survive. My body healed—but my heart and mind are still scarred. I now live with PTSD. I relive that awful day every time I sense another dog. Because of my trauma, I cannot live safely with other dogs. But here’s the truth: I am still a sweet, loving, goofy girl who adores people. I just need a home where I can feel safe again—no other animals , kids 16+, and a family willing to give me time, patience, and love. &#226&#156&#168 What makes me special: • LOVE playing ball • Silly with stuffies (I rip them for the squeaker!) • Love walks & yard time • Big cuddler—I’d rather sleep with you • Know some commands & key words • A total baby and goofball who just wants love &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 • I lost my ear that awful day, but my cuteness remains.
