My story

Donations being accepted for his care  Meet Theo, a sweet boy rescued from a kill shelter. We don’t know much about his past, but his actions speak loud and clear—he has suffered great physical abuse. It has taken him a while, but he is finally learning to trust and realizes he will not be hurt anymore. He even comes for playtime and allows some gentle touches.   Theo is neutered and up to date on his shots. He loves playing with balls and enjoys the company of both cats and dogs in his foster home. While he’s gentle and loving, he still needs time to adjust and isn’t quite ready for adoption yet.   Poor Theo also has dry eye, likely from the severe matting he suffered for so long. He isn’t a fan of the eye drops, but he’s learning. His foster mom is working with him every day to build his confidence. In the meantime, you can support his care by donating at www.affrescue.com.
