My story

Meet Hawkey, a handsome 2-year-old red Doberman with the perfect mix of brains, energy, and heart! This young stud is the total package. He is house-trained with zero accidents or marking, crate-trained for bedtime and outings, and a total sweetheart to both men and women. While he hasn't spent much time around young children, he has done great with a calm 10-year-old visitor and is a respectful, gentle companion. Hawkey loves other dogs and has regular playdates with a neighbor’s Golden/Lab mix. He’s been calm and confident around chickens and cats, proving he's a well-mannered farm guest too! This smart boy knows sit, down, wait, and come, and he's working on heel and leave it. He’s got a strong, athletic build and would thrive in a home with someone who enjoys staying active. But when the zoomies are done, he’s all snuggles and love, true to his Velcro Doberman nature. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving best friend with great manners and an even better personality, Hawkey may be the one for you! This fabulous foster is a Doberman Rescue Minnesota foster dog. Our foster families are generally located within a 250 mile radius of Minneapolis, MN.
