My story

She is house trained, or appears to be as she has not had any accidents.  Talley has a sweet temperament and warms quickly to children and adults,  she has shown us this several times with strangers.  We have a cat, she does not pay attention to it.  She watches me and what I am doing, where I go, etc.   She appears to want to be with me or know where I am.  She sleeps with us and prefers her brother- our other foster to stay off the bed. She also is ok when she is left outside for a while or when we leave the house.  I’ve done that when she is tired or occupied, she has likely slept when we are away not harming anything in the house...she actually heads for the bed.  She does not prefer a kennel and we do not use one, it was not needed.  I have used one in the car, she will settle in a crate but in general she is not in one.    I believe her exposure to things is pretty limited so we have been introducing her to new things daily, a little at a time. Car rides, leash walks, field walks and neighborhood, people.  She greets strangers well, a little more confident and happy than her brother right now.    She will sit and snuggle with you as long as you like.  She likes being by you, and loves the attention- she may have not gotten. She will roll over and submit to be loved, or when another dog is meeting her. She can and will boss her brother around at times, but I believe this is normal sibling rivalry behavior.  They -the siblings also play, sleep and eat by each other without issue.    Talley is ready to meet her forever family and begin to settle in with them.  She will be an excellent dog, no doubt in my mind.   She is very smart, if you want a dog that will lay around all day, that’s not Talley.  She will want to be with the family on every adventure. She will want to learn who you are and remind you of that later.  She’s likely has traits of a heeler, very agile and very devoted.  I will miss her.   About Me:  Hi I’m Talley, I have two brothers but I’m ready to leave them and go with you to be YOUR dog.  I will love you forever, everyday.  I’m tough and hardy even though I’m a smaller framed dog and likely won’t be as big as my brothers.  I catch on very quick, I’ll learn what you want from me.
