My story

Pirate is the coolest dog you’ll ever meet with 3 legs, unique markings, and a sick name, all while wearing stylish shoes. Despite the unimaginable struggles Pirate has gone through with quite a few injuries, he has never stopped smiling and wagging his tail through it all. He is the epitome of “dog”. The derpy tongue, the soulful eyes, and the joy of existing! This sweet boy captures everyone’s hearts with his gentle nature, his friendly hellos, and his love for pets and kisses. His favorite things include basking in the yard, playing with rope toys, and breakfast time. He will tell you all about his excitement with the cutest vocals! He’s still learning how to navigate the world with 3 legs, and he looks cool while doing it with his booties that give him some extra traction. As soon as they’re on, he sets off romping through the house with confidence. But rugs are his favorite. He is looking for a companion to encourage him to expand his world a little more every day! Despite never being in a home, he adapted fast to the good life and has soaked up every second of it, he’s also picking up quick on his manners! He is quite the homebody, but his foster family thinks that will change once he understands a leash and he will begin looking forward to short walks. Pirate loves kids, other dogs, and anyone who will give him scratches. He is crate trained, house trained, and learning basic commands. He knows his name and listens well especially for his favorite snack, cheese! If I had 2 words to describe him, I would say he’s just easy, and so so good! He approaches everything with curiosity and a smile. The type of guy that’s just happy to be involved.
