My story

Rosa Bella is a sweet, affectionate girl who’s been with her family since puppyhood. She’s housebroken, great on a leash, and adores both adults and kids. Bella loves toys, especially balls and bones, and greets new people with a happy tail wag. She prefers to be the only pet in the home, so she can soak up all the love for herself. I opened the door and stuck my leash in and let her sniff it. She had a neutral body and ears slightly pinned back. When I moved the leash towards her to leash her, she dodged it and moved away, then immediately came back to sniff it again. Let her explore it a bit longer and then easily slipped leash around her neck. She is great on leash and walks leisurely! In the play yard she was very low energy and came up to me for soliciting pets. She took pets all over and then jumped up in my lap to get more cuddles. When another dog walked by she started hard barking with a mid-level wagging tail and pacing the length of the fence. She knows sit and takes straight super gently! She seems pretty treat motivated. Super sweet and affectionate lady, super easy with handling. Per Staff 8/8/25: I got the chance to spend time with Rosa Bella and she is such a sweet girl! She loves giving kisses, is a good listener and is tolerant of other dogs. She gets super excited when she sees people and wants attention from everyone! She would be such a great addition to a home! 08/07/2025 volunteer notes: observed staff taking Rosa Bella for a walk. She was loose on leash and approachable. Asked to say hello and was able to give her pets all over. Walked together to the Welcome Center and observed no trouble retunring her to kennel 08/04/2025 medical staff notes: Rosa is a super friendly sweet girl . Very Food motivated . Knows sit and takes treats very gently . Amazingly calm and very easy to handle . Was able to vaccinate and micro chip with minimal restraint . Just Loves Peanut Butter !! Did Amazing , should have no problem finding a forever home !
