Meet Laika Oak – A Gentle Soul Ready to Heal Laika Oak is a beautiful, shy Pitbull girl with a quiet strength and a heart that’s learning how to trust again. Reserved and watchful, she takes her time getting to know people and siblings—but once she feels safe, her sweet nature begins to shine through along with her bubbly personality. Laika loves other animals and it has helped her come out of her shell. Laika has likely experienced more than her share of hardship, and she’s still learning that the world can be a kind and safe place. She’ll need a calm, patient home where she can decompress at her own pace, without pressure or expectations. What she needs most is time, space, and gentle consistency. Though shy, Laika shows a quiet determination to persevere. She watches the world carefully, trying to figure out where she fits in it—and it’s clear she wants to connect. Every small moment of progress, every brave step she takes, is deeply meaningful. Laika Oak isn’t the kind of dog who will immediately jump into your arms—but if you're someone who values slow, quiet trust and the deep bond that forms with time and love, she just might be the perfect match. She’s not just looking for a home—she’s looking for someone who sees her, believes in her, and is ready to walk beside her on her healing journey. Laika must have another dog in home with her.
