My story

Viewable in Shelter: Yes, free roaming in Cat Room 3.Say hello to Boo Bear, a lovable tuxedo cat with a gentle spirit and a whole lot of charm. When Boo Bear first arrived, he was in rough shape -- his back was severely matted, and he was (understandably) wary of people. He spent most of his time hiding, unsure if he could trust anyone. After a fresh shave and some much-needed TLC, Boo Bear has completely come out of his shell! He's now a curious, affectionate, and laid-back guy who enjoys exploring, relaxing in cozy spots, and soaking up gentle attention.Photos don't quite do him justice -- Boo Bear is a BIG boy, and he's currently on a journey to reach a healthier weight. He'll need a family that's committed to helping him with portion control, a proper diet, and daily play sessions to keep him active and feeling his best. This gentle giant isn't just looking for love -- he's seeking a complete lifestyle change!Boo Bear would thrive in a calm, patient home with older children (ages 10+) who can respect his space while also helping him stay active and engaged. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a cat who's come a long way and is ready to start the next chapter, Boo Bear is waiting for you. Come meet him-you just might fall in love!***Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Boo Bear's person? Apply today!TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/cat-pre-adoption-questionnaire/The Victoria Center is open for in-person adoption viewings Tuesday through Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, staff and animal well-being permitting. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 12.79 Age: 7yrs 0mths 1wks

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Boo Bear, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
