Valentine Is Ready to Love You Forever True to her name, Valentine is all heart. This gentle, affectionate girl is the kind of dog who makes you feel like the most important person in the world — just by sitting next to you. Whether she’s curled up on the couch, trotting happily by your side on a walk, or sneaking a treat with a hopeful glance, Valentine is the definition of loyal love. She’s incredibly well-mannered, both in and out of the house. Valentine walks beautifully on a harness, is calm in the car, and can be trusted to snooze peacefully at home while you're away — no crate, no mess, no fuss. She’s also the kind of dog who melts into your lap, follows you from room to room, and brings a quiet warmth to any space she’s in. Valentine adores children and is gentle and patient with even the littlest ones. She’s dog-friendly with thoughtful, slow introductions, though she prefers dogs her size or larger and isn’t a fan of small dogs or cats. She’s food-motivated, which makes training easy, and she’s learning every day — including how to ignore those tempting squirrels on walks. She tends to bond more quickly with women and can be a bit hesitant around men at first, but with a little patience and kindness, she learns to trust and love just as deeply. Valentine has come a long way, and she’s ready for the next chapter — one filled with snuggles, snacks, soft places to land, and someone who will love her as fiercely as she’ll love them. She’s waiting with her whole heart. Could you be her forever? Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
