My story

Ricky is a striking Bengal boy with a mysterious past - he was found as a stray, so we don't know much about where he came from, but we're getting to know who he is now. Though initially unsure, Ricky has been slowly warming up and is learning to enjoy gentle pets and the occasional tasty treat.He's a sensitive guy who would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can continue to build trust at his own pace. Because of his shy nature, Ricky would do best as the only pet in the home, with no small children.If you're looking for a quiet companion and are willing to give Ricky the time and space he needs, he just might be your perfect match.Do you think you could be Ricky's person? Here are some ways to find out: 1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or 2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
