My story

MEET MOLASSES!*FIV+*Needs a cat friend at home!*Playful + lap cat potential!Molasses came to us with a wound of unknown origin, so he`s been with us for months in compliance with state law. The fact is, he could stay forever and we would not tire of this little long-haired sweetheart! Mo may be on the smaller side, but when he was sharing space with a big rough housing male, Molasses was all in on long, vigorous play sessions. When he`s had enough of feline wrestling, Molasses is also the best, snuggly boy with his human friends. He loves to be brushed and petted, and when he`s in the mood, sit in our laps. Molasses had significant dental surgery at the end of his mandated quarantine, and he`s still a bit of a hot mess. We have been doing daily `spa` treatments, helping him to clean up his act. If you`ve been by our Dedham Adoption Center any time in the last 4-5 months, you may have admired Mo from afar. . . now`s your chance to take him home!Molasses is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on Molasses or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
