My story

Say hello to Chip Dip!This adorable 12 year old, 42 pound Boxer/Cattle Dog Mix is ready to find her forever home! Chip Dip has had a long journey leading up to this moment. This sweet girl was rescued from less-than-ideal conditions and brought to our shelter for a second chance at life. She`s looking for that special human with an open mind and a gentle heart to give her a calm, quiet home where she can learn what the best of being a house pup can be!Sensitive in nature, Chip Dip can be quite fearful of new people and new situations. She needs a bit more time and space to adjust to new environments and people before showing off her sweet and playful side. Once she does come out of her shell, she becomes quite the affectionate pup. Chip Dip would likely do best in a quiet, low-traffic home with kiddos that are 13 or older.Chip Dip is not averse to all dogs, however she does prefer canine companions who choose to co-exist in a space with her, versus those who want to play.
