My story

Meet Queenie, a sweet and playful pup who just needs a little time to come out of her shell. She can be shy and unsure at first, but with patience and gentle encouragement, her true personality shines. Queenie loves chasing toys on a flirt pole, playing tug, and running after a ball her playful side comes alive once she feels safe. She’s even rolled over for belly rubs and happily accepted pets all over! Queenie also does well with other dogs and would thrive in a calm, supportive home that can help build her confidence. If you’re looking for a loving companion to grow and bond with, Queenie might be your perfect match.This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
