My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please review our Adoption Process before filling out an application.  If you would like to try a Foster to Adopt trial, please fill out an Adoption Application.  If you are only interested in temporarily Fostering one of our rescues, please fill out a Foster Application.   Meet Crayola! This adorable calico kitten was rescued along with her sister Lola an adorable black/white kitten.Crayola is a bit bigger(taller) than lola but both have the same sweet personality and little meows. They were rescued by a dog rescuer who encountered them in the streets of tijuana back in early June at just a couple of months old. She had tried to receive help for them since their rescuer deals solely with dogs and finally contacted ARWOB when someone recommended she reached out. We had space at that time and where able to take the sisters in early July. They are now fully vetted and doing great! They are felv/fiv negative.Crayola and lola have very similar personalities. They are both very loving and playful. Crayola is easier to approach while lola still likes to play 'catch me if you can' while teasing you but she loves the attention and when you do have her she may try to sneak out of your arms but if you keep petting her she will melt and start purring. Crayola loves to be in your arms. Crayola would be a princess personality while Lola is the tomboy. They are great around the rest of the foster cats and within a couple of days of introducing them to their new foster friends they adjusted quickly and became friends. They are 'OK' around dogs but their first instinct when they see dogs coming their way is to go to high ground or under chairs, streets survival instincts. They have only been around dogs for a couple of weeks and we anticipate they will do just fine with them as time progresses, they certainly have no fear but still don't trust them completely. They should be good kitties for a family with children as they love to purr and seek attention from their foster BUT they will hide or run when new people come in to their foster home. We anticipate they won't show very well but you are welcome to see their videos to see how they are with people they know. They girls do warm up quickly to volunteers when they meet them it just takes a few minutes, don't expect fireworks when you meet up as most cats have that 'new people meeting' instincts. They do not need to be adopted together but we can say they always find each other in the house among other foster cats so they do prefer each other company over their friends. To meet and possibly adopt one or both of these sweethearts please submit an application online at ARWOB.org once the application is received we will contact you to schedule a call to finish processing your application in the hopes of moving fwd to scheduling a meet and greet at their foster home. Adoption can happen the same day of the meet and greet. You likely would meet these girls and other foster kittens around who can be 'mixed/match' to be adopted together but their foster can tell you about the kittens you choose to make sure they are good match. If you are planning on adopting only one kitten we prefer adopters who already have a cat at home to have a feline companion with them when their humans are away from home living their life. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you would like to meet one of our animals, PLEASE fill out an adoption application. Dog Adoption Application Cat Adoption Application   PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE IN THE MILITARY  please fill out a short questionnaire in addition to the adoption application. Military QuestionnaireAugust 7, 2025, 1:19 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Crayola, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
