My story

Meet Chiffon – The Gentle Soul Learning to Shine Chiffon is a 4-year-old, 25-pound Puggle mix with the sweetest eyes and the softest heart. She came to us from a difficult situation, having lived in a car with several other dogs, and she’s now learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for. A bit reserved, Chiffon takes her time warming up to new people, but her foster says she’s already making progress every day. She’s wonderfully gentle—and allows handling without fuss, even for baths. On walks, she keeps her tail low around strangers, but once the street is quiet, it perks up and she happily explores. Chiffon is both house-trained and puppy pad trained, travels well, and coexists peacefully with dogs, cats, and respectful children. While she’s not yet interested in cuddling or toys, she enjoys her walks, loves her treats, and will quietly watch the action from a safe spot. She’s looking for a calm, patient home that will let her blossom at her own pace. With kindness and time, Chiffon will reveal the loving, loyal companion she’s meant to be—and whoever adopts her will have the joy of watching her transformation firsthand.
