My story

Jax – Sweet Senior Snugglebug Looking for His Forever Couch Jax is a 7-year-old terrier mix with a heart as big as his 68-pound body (and yes, he’s working on trimming down!). This loving boy is a total couch potato who adores snuggles, nap time, and just being by your side. He’s easy on the leash, mellow, and absolutely wonderful with kids. Jax is the kind of dog who will happily trade zoomies for cuddle sessions and is looking for a calm, loving home where he can be your loyal lounge buddy. He’d love to meet any resident dogs to make sure it’s a good match. I qualify for the Silver Paws VIP Program. Do you? If you're 65 or older, we could be the perfect match! As part of this special program, Gulf Coast Humane Society waives the adoption fee and provides free veterinary care through our wellness clinic. It’s our way of supporting lifelong companionship.
