Christopher

My story

Christopher is a sweet cat who has had a lot of tough breaks. He first showed up on a person's doorstep last year. He lived with them and their 4 cats for a while until one of the resident cats became ill. The finders felt it was best to contact us and put him up for adoption. We placed him at PetSmart, which wasn't an environment he really enjoyed. While there, he developed a dental abscess. We took him to the vet and had 14 of his teeth removed, plus a dental for the remaining teeth. When we placed him in foster while he was recovering, he flourished. He LOVES being in a home. It broke our hearts to take him back to PetSmart, where he was once again sad. He was again adopted, but shortly after we learned he had slipped out the door. He was found a few weeks later, but the adopters said they were no longer interested in him. We again sent him back to foster where he was VERY happy. Christopher was again adopted and returned. This time, we were told he was too active at night, which other homes haven't reported. He is back in foster where he is very happy, as we are committed not to send him back to PetSmart, where he becomes very depressed. He would love to be somewhere he can cuddle and spend his day as a lap cat. Christopher is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, dewormed, and on flea prevention
