My story

My adoption fee will be waived from August 19 - 24as part of the MUTT-CHKINS ADOPTION EVENT !!! Meet Dan, the lovable hound mix with the heart of a big puppy! This guy may be a bit of a clumsy cuddle monster, still working on his manners, but he is all heart. Dan is a playful, bouncy boy who absolutely adores snuggling, though he might forget he is not quite a lap dog given his size! He enjoys spending time with other dogs, so he could be a great fit for a home with a playful canine sibling. However, Dan isn`t always aware of his own strength, so any kiddos in the home should be sturdy enough to handle the occasional knock over. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat areas will remain open to walk through. If you think Dan could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Nevins Farm Adoption Center in Methuen. We have open adoption hours Tuesday Sunday from 12:00 pm 4:30 pm with no appointment or application needed.
