How this pet arrived: Bowie was brought in by a community member on July 25, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you:There's a starman at the shelter, and his name is Bowie. He came in as a stray and is still adjusting to this strange new world. A bit cautious with new people, Bowie takes his time warming up-but once he's feeling more secure, he's not shy about making his presence known. He's got some things to say and isn't afraid to speak up, especially when something's unfamiliar or exciting. This cutie-pie can be quite vocal at times, and doesn't like to share his favorite things (like treats) with others. A calm, patient home will help him find his rhythm, where he can build trust at his own pace-no rush or pressure, just good vibes and room to settle in. Bowie might need a little brush-up on his manners, but he's eager to learn with the right guidance. If there are kids in the home, they should be 10+ and able to respect his space-this isn't a mosh pit, it's more of an acoustic set.
