My story

URGENT: Meet Salem – A Sweet Soul Needing a Calm, Loving Home Salem is a charming tuxedo girl with soft short hair, born August 29, 2021. She was surrendered to the county shelter and rescued by Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue, where she received the care she needed before arriving at Frisky Cat Café. She is currently living in foster care which is just a temporary home. Though Salem is a heartbroken from being surrendered, she is a loving angel full of affection, the stress of the busy café environment has been too much for her. She had to move into foster care to recover from being around so many other cats who see her as a soft target. Salem thrives best as an only cat in a peaceful, loving home where she can relax and be adored without fear. Salem has a playful spirit and a big heart—she’s ready to shower her forever family with love and snuggles, if only someone will give her that chance. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who needs a calm sanctuary and a fresh start, please consider making Salem part of your family. Her need is urgent, and she deserves a home filled with kindness and peace. We have dozens of cats and kittens ready for adoption! You can find all our available cats at the Frisky Cat Cafe in St. Augustine, located at 1092 Ponce De Leon Blvd (US 1). A visit to the cafe presents a delightful chance to meet and bond with your potential feline companion. Our cats and kittens are sociable and delight in interacting with guests, revealing their unique personalities during your visit.
