My story

Sweet MAPLE is a beautiful little female brown tabby teenager kitten with a stunning, one-of-a-kind coat that blends classic mackerel striping with a spotted coat. Her curious nature peeks through when she’s playing with toys or watching the world from a cozy perch. Maple and her siblings were rescued as kittens after a kind-hearted Good Samaritan found them and their mother living in a local park. Maple has come a long way in her foster home and is steadily gaining confidence every day. She prefers to observe before engaging with her humans, and enjoys gentle pets in a calm setting. A cautious kitty, Maple would thrive in a quiet, patient home with a forever family who encourages her to warm up at her own pace and helps overcome her initial tendency to hide. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a unique beauty and appreciation for a peaceful environment, Maple may be the perfect addition to your family. Maple would love to go home with one of her siblings, TIMBER or SAWYER.   MAPLE has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $175 (320 for a pair) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
