My story

I’m Murphy, a beautiful, gentle 8-month-old Collie mix. I have an amazing story: I was rescued by a American soldier serving in Syria who saw me and my siblings struggling to survive. He moved heaven and earth to get me to the U.S. so I could have a chance at a loving family and a good life. I've adjusted well. I like to play with other dogs, and I am a very friendly, sweet dog. Due to my past, I sometimes still guard bones, although I am working on overcoming this behavior in my current home. For that reason I would like to start out as an only dog in an adult household.
