My story

DOB: March 1, 2025 Shire is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved. Shire is a lively black tabby kitten bursting with playful energy. He’d happily play from sunrise to sunset, whether it’s chasing a tiny toy mouse, pouncing on a feather wand, or tumbling around with other kittens, adult cats, or his favorite humans. Despite his small size, Shire can keep up with kittens twice as big and never misses a beat. When the playtime winds down, this affectionate little boy loves to curl up for cuddles with his human friends. He’s curious, confident, and always eager to explore his surroundings. Shire is also a great eater who enjoys his Royal Canin kitten dry and wet food, and he has perfect litter box manners. This sweet boy is truly a bundle of joy. The small patch of missing fur on his chest is from a fully treated abscess—he’s healed and just waiting for the fur to grow back.
