0892 Trixie pka Ruby

My story

Trixie is fostered in Henderson, KY Introducing Trixie!!  Trixie was a stray picked up by the local Animal Control. Trixie is estimated to be about a year old and weighs approximately 40 lbs.  She is a standard red tri female Australian Shepherd.   Since arriving in her foster home, she has shown herself to be a very intelligent girl.  She learns commands and hand signals quickly.  Trixie has a WONDERFUL temperament and loves every dog and person she meets.  She has been known to enjoy golf cart rides in the neighborhood with her foster dad.  Trixis is very personable and appropriately affectionate.  She reacts very well with strangers and with other dogs.  She has done excellent with the other foster dogs in her foster home. Her foster dad is teaching her to fetch but its a work in progress. She loves to fetch but not so keen on bringing the Frisbee back so it can be tossed again. Trixie is a very “soft” dog and very influenced by your tone of voice.  Her intelligence is not surprising as Trixie is very eager to please.  She interacts well with cats.  She is a wonderful dog and is ready for her forever home.  Is that you?   Trixie is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and receiving monthly preventatives for fleas, ticks and heartworms.  Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization.  For more information on our adoption process or to complete an adoption application, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.
