My story

I am small — only about 9kg — but everyone says I feel even smaller when they hold me. My fur is soft, my eyes are kind, and my heart is full of love I haven’t had the chance to give yet. I’m only one year old, but I’ve already learned how to love gently. I like meeting new people, and I warm up quickly. I don’t bark much. I don’t rush. I simply sit nearby, quietly, hoping someone might notice me. I get along well with other dogs. I’ve even met cats and didn’t mind them at all. I’m still young, so I love to play, but my nature is calm and peaceful — especially for a girl my age. I spent my puppyhood in a shelter with my sibling. We were always together, like one heart in two bodies. My sibling has now found a family far away in Canada. I am still here, waiting. But I am not sad. I believe someone will come for me too. I’ve never lived in a real home, so everything will be new to me. I may not know how to do things right away. But I am smart, and I love people — if you teach me with patience and kindness, I will learn quickly. I am waiting for someone who will see me, not just as a dog — but as a friend. A little soul who wants to walk beside you, quietly and faithfully, for all the days to come. If your heart feels something when you hear my story… maybe it’s because I’ve been waiting for you.
