My story

Meet Parcel! She is currently in a foster home and her adoption fee is sponsored to an approved applicant! Her story is amazing! This strong and mighty five-and-a-month-old girl was found by a mail-lady while out on her route. When she was brought to MHS as a stray, she was hanging on by a thread...but look at her now! She is a girl on the move even though she cannot use her back legs...not being able to use her back legs well enough to walk does not stop her! She’s got mega upper body and core strength which she uses to get around quite nicely! Parcel loves to play but also loves to perch on your shoulder for cuddles. Parcel is going to need an adopter with comfort in expressing her bladder 2-3 times daily (we can teach you!) and someone who will make sure she doesn’t hurt herself by climbing too high. She has no problem climbing! It’s the getting down that she’s not quite mastered gracefully yet, lol! She adores her 10-year-old human foster brother. Children in the home should be about that age so they are aware of her needs and can be respectful of her fragility. Parcel lives with a small dog and a very large dog. Dogs in her new home will need to be small; around 10-15 pounds so they also can be gentle with her. She seems interested in other friendly kitty friends!" -Parcel's foster mom.
