My story

Meet Violet – the Mighty “Itty-Bitty Pitty” Hi! I’m Violet, a petite 25-pound Pitty mix with a giant heart and a story to tell. At just 9 months old, I’ve already shown the world how tough I can be. I survived life as a street dog in Texas, and had some medical issues because of that. They are cleared up but will need to be rechecked in a few months. While I carry a few scars from my rough beginnings, I’m ready to trade my past for a bright, loving future.   Despite my brave exterior, I’m actually a soft, sensitive soul. I’m even a little scared of the dark—when nighttime comes, I’d rather snuggle under my raised bed or, better yet, bury myself under your blankets for some cozy cuddles. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, I’m your girl!   I absolutely LOVE my foster brother, Mr. Morty (maybe more than he loves me, if we’re being honest!). While I’d adore being adopted with him, I can also adjust to life as your one and only. Because of my background, I’m still learning to share my toys and attention with other dogs and definitely prefer a home without small animals like chickens. I would thrive best as an only dog—unless, of course, Mr. Morty comes too (hint hint ).   I’m playful, toy-obsessed, and love a good game of fetch. I’m also the perfect workout partner! I enjoy walks, car rides, and being your loyal passenger.
