560 (2025) Hickory

My story

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! From the foster: Hickory is already stealing hearts! He’s got the perfect black and white coat and fuzzy ears, he’s sweet, smart, and just the right amount of playful! He let out a few cries each time he was locked in a crate or playpen, but that only lasted for a few seconds before he settled down. He slept peacefully until about 4am in a crate with his sister, and even accepted going back in a short time later to let everyone get a little more rest. He’s still very much a puppy and has lots to learn. While briefly on a leash, he got very bouncy and tangled up, and a bit frustrated with it! As for potty training, he may not be fully emptying his bladder while outside, so is still having a few accidents in the house. But he seems to be recognizing and using the potty pads. He is very food motivated and already picking up basic commands, so he’ll be a quick learner! Hickory is being fostered with his sister #561 and an 8 year old Labrador mix who doesn’t care much for playtime. He’s been curious but respectful of her space.
