Name: Joey Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 4 months Est. DOB: 4/18/25 SEX: Female (spayed) Weight: 3.2 lbs as of 8/1/25 Coloring: Black Type of Hair: ShortLitter: Jacob, Janie, Jasper, Joey Gets Along With: Because of her young age, Joey will likely get along with other cats, dogs and kids with an acclimation period. We’re happy to help with tips and tricks! Currently Living at: Shelter - needs a confirmed adopter to escape the shelter! I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Joey, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. Two kittens are better than one - consider adopting one of my super cute siblings, too! What The Shelter Says About Me: Joey began her life in the PAWS palace at a whopping 4 oz of teeny tiny. She was placed with 4 other kittens approx her age and was the tiniest, but they accepted her as one of their own. After a few ups and downs and a lot of TLC, Joey literally slopped and gruelled her way into the black beauty she is today. Talk about tenacity! Joey can be reserved & studious at times but once she knows & trusts that you are going to provide her with a big bowl of goodness, she is all in! Joey never takes a back seat (even though she lives with larger kittens who are not biologically related to her) as she demands equal time with toys and beds, which can be a challenge for a small girl with much bigger brothers and a big sister. Joey is an amazing little spirit and a very wise girl for her age. Life has been a challenge at times (and volunteers held their breath as to if she would survive) but she came out a strong - thanks to her will to survive! Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption. You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat.
