My story

🐾 Meet Smudge – The Smart & Independent Sidekick 🐾 Smudge is a handsome 1-year-old who was found as a stray and is now looking for his forever home — as your one and only cat. He’s an independent, confident boy who enjoys gentle affection and will happily rub against your legs or purr when picked up. While he’s not a lap cat, Smudge loves to hang out in the same room as his people, curl up nearby, and even greet guests when they arrive. Smudge is also a play enthusiast — he loves chasing a string toy for his daily 10–15 minute play session and watching the world from a sunny window. He’s very smart, picks up on routines quickly, and gives clear cues when he wants attention or needs a break. Because he prefers affection on his own terms, Smudge will thrive with a cat-savvy person who can read his signals and respect his space. In return, you’ll get a loyal, entertaining companion who will keep you company without demanding constant attention. As we are closed to the public, adoptions are by appointment only.
