He takes a while to open up, but once he does, he's a giant teddy bear!! He loves to snuggle up on the couch and relax with us. Count loves his walks and is great on a leash. It does take him some getting used to the area before he will walk calmly. He is easily startled and timid with new areas. He is crate and house trained, but prefers the bed right up next to you! Count takes treats nicely, but seems to want whatever we are eating as well. About Me:  Hi there! My name is Count, and I recently made the big journey from Alabama all the way to Minnesota—and I’m loving it so far!   I'm a sweet, gentle soul who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. I can be nervous at first and need a little extra patience as I settle in. But once I feel comfortable, I’ll be your loyal shadow—always by your side, ready to give love.  I  love  going on walks and I’m excellent on a leash. Treats? Yes, please! I take them ever so gently. What I’d really love is a confident doggy sibling to help me feel safe and show me how to just be a dog. With a friend like that, I might even start to play and have some real fun!
